Pokemon Sun and Moon is the latest iteration of Pokemon Games. It takes place in the Haiwaiian region of Alola, and has a completely different setup compared to the standard Pokemon League with Trials and Kahunas. A new Professor Oak (Oak's Cousin), new Pokemon and forms of Pokemon, and an entirely new system of Battling! These games truly have it all! The infamous Team Skull is even included, along with a mysterious organization that seems to want to thwart their dastardly activities. Pokemon Sun and Moon is available for Pre-order, and is set to be released in America on November 18th, 2016.

Why did we pick Arceus as our mascot? Well, it's not just because Arceus is a super powerful Legendary! Arceus is considered the start of all Pokemon, the creator of the Pokemon Universe, and basically the "Central" point of Pokemon Evolution and life. Not only that, but Arceus also represents personal growth, forgiveness, and learning to trust others. Despite being awesome and all powerful, Arceus had its flaws in the Movie that it starred in. Arceus shows us that no matter how perfect you think you are (or others think you are), no one is REALLY perfect. Everyone has flaws, and everyone can strive to work together to fix those flaws. Thus, our forum represents kindness, humility, and friendship by choosing Arceus as our mascot.

Mairin

Mairin is a rather clumsy little trainer first seen in the Pokemon Mega Evolution Specials. Mairin is almost always bright and cheerful. Her optomism is something to be admired, and her go getting attitude should be an inspiration to trainers everywhere. Mairin is not one to just give up when things look bad, and she cares deeply for her Pokemon and her friends.

Mairin takes our Character Spotlight this time for her bright personality and her adorable klutzyness. The day her journey started, she decided to immediately make a new friend by not giving up and following Alain until he let her come with him. It's this attitude that makes her someone to look up to.

We all love Pokemon, and we all love being able to take our favorite Pokemon on the go! We've done our research, and we've found some great apps for everyone to enjoy!

We'll start off our list with apps for Apple devices! Here's what we found to be the best iOS Pokemon Apps:

-Pokemon TV

The Pokemon TV app lets you enjoy your favorite episodes of Pokemon on the go! Wifi is requried to run this app.

-Pokedex Pro, Pokedex, PokeGear, and Dexter

These apps are all very similar, but each one is awesome in it's own right! If you need Pokemon Info, these are the apps for you!

-PokeTypes

This app can give you instant Type Matchups! Great for competitive battling!

Now, our list for Android devices! It goes as follows:

-Pokeball's Battery

This quirky little widget gives you 6 Pokeballs, each of which represent %15 of your battery power. When you plug in your device for charging, this app plays the easily recognizable and much beloved Pokemon Center Healing tune.

-PikaWidget

This cute little widget gives your device a rectangle with Pikachu's face on it! When tapped, it plays a multitude of Pikachu sounds some of which were taken from the anamatronic Pikachu toys that moved, lit up, and spoke.

-Slide and Escape

This game works just like the sliding ice sheets in older games. The player must slide across the ice to reach the goal point! A great boredom buster and brain teaser!

-Pokedex by PokGear Inc.

This app is a fantastic Pokedex filled with info! It also has original soundbytes for each Pokemon's Cry!

-Poke Moron Test

This app is a frustratingly fun little game that tests your attentiveness and ability to follow directions with Pokemon Themed challenges! Challenge yourself, or watch your friends struggle! Comes in a free and Deluxe version.
